Operational Business Support Manager (Job Share)
3 Full Days per week (22.5 hours total) - salary will be pro rata.

Applications are being sought to recruit to a vacancy for an Operational Business Manager (Job Share – 3 full days – 22.5 hours in total) within the East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership. The post holder will be based at John Muir House, Haddington and we would welcome applications ideally from experienced and enthusiastic health and/or social care business support leads. Ideally with innovative people skills who are forward-thinking individuals who can deliver on improvements to processes which promote the delivery of high-quality services. Support teams to problem solve tasks and seize opportunities to overcome challenges using best practice methods and creative thinking, demonstrating a flexible approach to learning and delivery.
East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership are looking to appoint to this job share role of Operational Business Manager which has clear roles and responsibilities, as outlined in the Job Description. You will be highly motivated and bring commitment, enthusiasm and an in-depth knowledge of whole system business approaches to continued business support service improvement, business support service management and business support service transformation to support teams within the Partnership. The successful candidate will have management experience of working within a complex environment and a firm commitment to improving business support services provided to teams within East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
This post of Operational Business Manager within the Planning & Performance Service of East Lothian Health & Social Care Partnership is being offered as Job Share (22.5 hours / 0.6 FTE). There is a requirement for 3 full days (22.5 hours) over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (this can be flexible). A crossover day is required with the current post holder and the successful candidate.
There are 2 clear post holder portfolio’s this will be discussed in detail at interview for those candidates successfully selected for interview.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
