An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our West Lothian Community Vaccination Team as an Admin Assistant to provide high quality support in the daily running of our vaccination programme and services.
As a member of the team, you will possess excellent organisation, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as a good eye for detail and a conscientious approach to your work to ensure that systems are maintained, and documents are produced to a high standard. You will be highly motivated and adaptable with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This post has a wide and varied workload working with various teams and some of these duties will include welcoming patients face to face, registering patients on TURAS, answering telephone calls and ad hoc admin tasks as required, therefore candidates must have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided with the opportunity to learn various new skills whilst supporting multi-agency staffing groups.
Please note this position is Friday – Monday (8:15am – 17:45pm) – 36 hrs per week
