Work as part of NHS Lothian Energy Management team to provide robust management and development of NHS Lothian’s energy, utilities and associated carbon, ensuring compliance with all internal and external requirements including international standards and applicable legislation.
Manage relationships throughout NHS Lothian supply chain and with partners and participate in and lead on energy-related initiatives focusing on systems improvement, energy conservation, carbon reduction, energy efficiency technologies and use of renewable energy sources.
To manage, assure and be accountable for compliance with statute, regulation, guidance and best practice across NHS Lothian from an Environmental and Sustainability perspective. This will involve implementing policy and procedure in relation to all energy and utility issues across the board.
