- Job Title: 111 Non-Emergency Call Handlers
- Office Based: Rotherham
- Contract period: Part or Full Time - 24 or 30 hours per week (Temp to Perm for the right person!)
- Hours of work: Shift Pattern - 24/7 365 role with a mixture of days, lates & nights in a rota, you will be required to work 3 out of 4 weekends and 6 out of 8 bank holidays.
Pay Rate:
- Weekdays - £10.42p/h (Raising to £11.11p/h after 12 weeks training)
- Nights and Saturdays £14.07p/h (Raising to £15.00p/h after 12 weeks training)
- Sundays and Bank Holidays £17.61p/h (Raising to £18.78p/h after 12 weeks training)
HRGO Recruitment are currently looking for Non-Emergency 111 Call Handlers. This exciting opportunity will suit anyone with a background in administration, customer service, telecommunication, retail, or healthcare. Full Training will be provided for this role over a 10-week period, the first 6 weeks will be full time and 100% attendance is required.111
As a 111 Call Handler, you will be the first point of contact for communication with patients, patient's relatives, health care professionals and other callers. You will assess patient's condition and ensure they are directed to the most appropriate health care professional. You will provide assessment, basic advice and health information to all patients calling 111, supporting them to access the appropriate level of care including advice on how to manage their symptoms at home.
You will deliver high quality, safe and clinically effective health care over the telephone using clinical decision system NHS Pathways. You must be an effective communicator with good keyboard skills, and able to deal with confidential/sensitive and distressing information.
Requirements:
- Driving License
- Able to work 24/7 365 shift pattern.
