
1 - Senior Service Desk Analyst x 2 Portsmouth, South East England, England
Job description
The University of Portsmouth are looking to recruit two Senior Service Desk Analysts to join our IT Service Desk team.
Duties will include triaging and handling inbound contacts including via email, instant messaging and phone based. You will be supported by an experienced team leader, service desk manager, and team.
After initial induction, you will be expected to support the junior members of the team, handle complex queries and undertake more responsible duties within the scope of the IT Service Desk.
This role will not include direct line management, but opportunities will exist to lead the team for brief periods in the absence of the team leader.
The IT Service Desk is made up of 7 Full time Service Desk analysts, plus a Team leader. They are the first point of contact for all Staff and Students in all IT matters.
This role may suit an experienced Service Desk analyst looking to take the next step, or an existing Senior Analyst looking to develop new skills in a supportive environment.
