Job description
1:1 support worker required to provide flexible support to a lady with a learning disability at weekends. Additional hours will be available on an as and when basis. The successful applicant will have some experience of social care and be able to take a consistent and compassionate approach. Job duties will include taking the service user to leisure activities, and supporting the service user to learn independent living skills. Your role will be to provide practical, emotional and social support.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about enabling people to lead a happy and fulfilling life, is dedicated and caring, willing to learn and make a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.
Create will provide training, support and supervision, holiday pay and employee pension scheme. Registration with the SSSC is required, Create will pay annual registration fees.
8 hours can be flexible over Saturdays and Sundays to suit the preferred candidate.
