Post Title: 1:1 Support Worker
Location: Robins, Cornford Lane, Pembury, Kent, TN2 4QU

Days or Nights available – part-time or full-time availability
Salary: up to £14,087.84 approx annual salary not inclusive of any overtime etc - £10.42 per hour
Good public transport routes – close to train and bus stations / We also provide a staff transport service

Robins accommodates seven individuals with moderate learning difficulties and medium dependency needs.
Robins has seven bedrooms, a spacious communal lounge/dining area and an enclosed outside patio area. The house also has a well-equipped kitchen and a conservatory leading directly off the dining area. There are two bathrooms – of which one is a wet room – a toilet and a separate laundry room. The house has a vehicle at the disposal of the residents for off-site activities.
We know it's not always easy to get to work without a car, and with increasing fuel prices we want to help our staff get to us in an easy and cost-effective way. We are very pleased to now offer a free shuttle bus service for our staff coming to the Cornford Lane site!

About the Candidate:
As a 1:1 Support Worker you would be expected to help support individuals on a one to one basis including; taking individuals on days out, providing personal care, cleaning, attending appointments, assisting individuals to day services, going on service user holidays and anything else to help improve the lives of those we support.

Our ideal 1:1 support worker should be able to work as part of a team but also be able to work on a 1:1 basis, be confident, caring, able to assist with recording finances, medication & writing and recording daily information.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experiences:
· Experience as a care or support worker
· Experience in supporting vulnerable adults with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and autism.
· L2/3 Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social Care
· Full Driving Licence with access to transport
· Transferrable Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate
